St. Hubert Kennel
Club, which originated in 1950, is located in New London
County in
southeastern Connecticut.
The objectives of
the St. Hubert Kennel Club, Inc. are:

to encourage and promote the
breeding of purebred dogs for the purpose of bringing their natural
qualities to perfection
-
to urge members and breeders to
accept the standard of purebred dogs as approved by the American
Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which dogs shall
be judged
-
to do all in its power to protect
and advance the interests of purebred dogs by encouraging
sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, field
trials, and other events under American Kennel Club rules
-
to conduct sanctioned matches,
licensed shows, obedience trials, and field trials under the rules
of the American Kennel Club
-
to educate dog owners and
prospective dog owners on the responsibility of owning a dog which
encompasses proper care, training, neutering, and being a good dog
owning citizen.
